Cedar Crest College Orientation Overview (August 21-24, 2025)

Orientation is a required four-day experience for all incoming first-year residential and commuter students, designed to help you transition smoothly into college life.

What to Expect:

• Meet your classmates, academic advisor, and professors
• Explore campus and the local community
• Participate in engaging activities and events
• Make new friends and have fun!

Key Dates & Highlights

• Thursday, August 21 – Move-in (residential students), commuter programming, resource fair, student & family sessions, and the Open Door Ceremony
• Friday, August 22 – Student programming, Strawberry Festival, and evening activities
• Saturday, August 23 – Wellness Day and campus events
• Sunday, August 24 – Brunch and final student programming

For Families & Loved Ones:

Orientation also includes sessions designed to help families understand and support their student’s transition to college, meet faculty and staff, and feel confident about the journey ahead.
